What is Forest Bathing?
Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku) is a Japanese practice of immersing yourself in nature, engaging all your senses to connect deeply with the environment. It’s not just a walk—it’s about slowing down, breathing deeply, and allowing nature’s healing energy to restore you. Forest Bathing has been scientifically proven to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, boost the immune system, and enhance mental clarity.
Mindfulness in Nature & Elemental Practices
Mindfulness in Nature integrates the principles of mindfulness with the natural world. I guide mindful walks, elemental and other practices as we move intentionally through forests or green spaces. My guidance invites you pay attention to the sounds, sights, and sensations around you. This mindful awareness quiets the mind, fostering emotional balance and well-being.
To deepen the experience, I incorporate Elemental Practices that connect you with the core energies of earth, water, fire, and air, offering grounding, clarity, and rejuvenation. These elements help you restore balance and tap into nature’s ancient wisdom.
Additionally, I use sound healing—native-style flutes and shamanic drumming—to enhance the journey. The sounds create a calming, meditative atmosphere, guiding you to a deeper connection with nature and yourself.
I interweave all these practices—Forest Bathing, Mindfulness in Nature, Elemental Practices, and Sound Healing—into my retreats and events, adapting them to the specific needs of the session or group.
